Security Bank taps Malaysian firm for digitization

MANILA, Philippines – Security Bank Corp. engaged a Malaysia-based banking automation company to upgrade its current branch banking management system to a state-of-the-art cloud-based digital omnichannel platform.

Security Bank has partnered with Consolsys with the aim of transforming its in-branch experience and providing a differentiated, world-class BetterBanking service.

Security Bank’s current teller, lobby management and signature verification system (SVS) would be replaced by Mosaic Voyager, a cloud-based omnichannel delivery system that reduces inefficiencies, increases overall productivity and provides an opportunity to increase touchpoints.

“As the bank transitions from traditional cloud-based services to new, scalable digital services, we will be able to serve customers faster and provide them with our BetterBanking signature service powered by innovative digital banking technology. of Mosaic Voyager is a key enabler as we transform our branches to deliver differentiated customer-centric experiences,” said Lucose Eralil, Head of Technology and Enterprise Operations at Security Bank.

The listed bank has accelerated its transition to the Mosaic Voyager service with a plan to complete implementation across all its branches by the third quarter of next year.

Once fully implemented, the comprehensive and transformative new system will enhance Security Bank’s ability to deliver a truly differentiated customer experience for transacting customers, improve operational efficiency and propel the bank forward in its digital banking transformation.

Also present at the Mosaic Voyager branch management system signing ceremony were Patricia Tan, Head of Customer Segmentation for Security Bank, Tina Henson, Head of Operations Group, and Leslie Cham, Head of Banking Branch .

Consolsys was represented by Group Managing Director Ahmad Oliaei, Executive Director Zia Madani and Sales Director Jose “Joey” Maitim Jr.

The company has been providing banking automation services in Asia since 1999 with presence in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Brunei.

This is just one of many initiatives Security Bank is implementing as it moves closer to realizing its vision of becoming the most customer-centric bank in the Philippines.
