Amir talks with Malaysian Prime Minister


His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob held a formal talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday morning.

During the session, they discussed development aspects of joint cooperation, especially in the areas of economy and investment, in addition to exchanging views on the most important regional and international issues.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, HE the Head of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE the Minister of Municipalities Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie , and HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, attended the session.

On the Malaysian side, Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah, International Trade and Industry Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali, Rural Development Minister Mahdzir bin Khalid and Deputy Public Works Minister Arthur Joseph Kurup attended.

On this occasion, His Highness the Amir organized a banquet lunch in honor of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the delegation accompanying him.

Prime Minister Yaakob had arrived earlier at the Amiri Diwan, where he enjoyed an official reception ceremony.
